TOPIC:
Post a picture of a food or drink you eat, cook, or buy this week.  Be sure it's a "real" photo - not one you found online.  You can be in the picture with the food too!  Tell us all about it.  Where is it?  Who are you with?  What time is it?  What is the food or drink?  What is it made from?  Did you cook it or buy it?  What does it taste like?  Why did you choose it?  Do you feel this is healthy?

Blog Assignment 4:  Windows and Doors

DUE: Monday, April 30th by 8:00am

TOPIC
Post one picture of a window or door. Doors and windows have always been metaphors (symbols) for opportunities.  You can also choose to write about a door or window of opportunity that has opened or shut in your life. What opened up and happened as a result?  What was shut, and how did you overcome or not go through with it?  What was the result? Describe the picture as well.  Where is it?  Why did you choose it?  Is it special to you?  Is it famous?

Your post should be at least two paragraphs long (equal to one page handwritten).

We are reading about art and music.  For this post you should share and write about a specific musical piece, song, or group that inspires you.

REQUIREMENTS
Post one of the following:  A video (Youtube) or link of your song, or a picture of a person you are writing about.

POSTING
Write about the singer(s) or song.  What is the song about?  Where did you first hear it?  What is it about?  Why is it important to you?  Who is the singer(s) or artist(s)?  What do you know about them - in your own words - and why do you like them?

Please edit carefully for grammar, spelling and punctuation.  Comment on at least three other students' blogs.

Blog 1: What Would You Hold?

What object holds the most meaning for your life? What represents everything you hold precious? What will you keep for as long as you live, carefully boxed and moved from place to place as situations in your life change?

REQUIREMENTS
The object must be small enough to hold in your hands. Reflect on its meaning, describe and explain its importance. Take a photo of the object in your hands.
