Before and After

Everyone who used computer must see the first picture before; this is the first background when we turned of our computer.  This picture, which named bliss, was taken by Charles O‘Rear at Sonoma County, California.  At 1996, he took this picture and sold it to Microsoft.  The first time I saw this picture, I felt this is not the real picture, it is a photomontage, however this is truly taken by human being.

Name of Bliss is from the green grassland, white clear cloud, and blue sky.  But ten years later, the photography took another picture at the same place, then we got a picture on the bottom.  In that picture, which was taken in ten years later, the green grassland, white cloud, blue sky have gone, all of them are replaced by grape trees, freeways, and grey sky.  Most of people chase the value of economic, and do not pay more attention on our living.  Red Wine is delicious, likewise, our life can be enjoyable also with the blue sky. 

Although our life quality have improved, the environment is getting hurt by us.  We care too much ourselves, and avoid to consider how the feeling of environment.  As a consequence,  we lose the blue sky, and a health environment.  In my opinion, I think we lose more than win.
